Behind the Needle and Brush
Caroline Rosa has been making art since she learned she had hands. Often referring to her art as “containers of memory” she found a space of true authenticity when she offered her unique experiences places to live within her embroidery, watercolors and oil painting. Starting as a gift for herself, and then transforming into a gift she could give to her loves ones, she now sees her freelance art era as an extension of her love language, gift giving, in its truest form. A gift for you, or for you to give to others—however you support her in her artistic endeavors, she’s honored to be part of it and the tapestry of life that weaves us all together.
Caroline specializes in watercolor and oil paint but does not aspire to limit her love of making to any one specific medium. That way of thinking led her to her latest and greatest joy, the world of textiles. Whether she is experimenting with natural dyes, weaving, embroidery or quilting, she loves the versatility of textile art and the opportunities to value both the form and the function of her creations.
Furthermore, Caroline invites anyone to challenge her to learn more modes of making so that their vision may come to life and be made real by her hands. Limited only to your imagination, if you feel like Caroline’s containers of memory resonate with you, set up a consultation for a “catered to you” experience and a one of a kind piece of art.
